I was born and raised in Peru, New York. I graduated in 1969 with high honors and worked through out my high school years in an office as an aide. I always knew that I enjoyed working with figures and from then on it was all up hill. I worked six years for Keeseville Sales and Service as a full charge automobile dealer bookkeeper doing the entire monthly reports to Ford Motor Company until they went out of business. At that time, my husband started a concrete business in 1976. I worked doing all his office needs of payrolls, bookkeeping, and account analysis along with six other small businesses in the Keeseville area. In 1989, I decided to start my own concrete business Adirondack Concrete Foundations and continued to handle all office procedures along with doing projections and financial statements for banking purposes for that business. In 2003, I closed my business and contacted my accounting firm and friend, Alexander Edwards. Thinking I was going to be taking a little time off, Alex had other ideas and created a position for me so here I am. My duties here are handling the payrolls for clients that include quarterlies and year end W-2’s. In addition I also do monthly write-ups for which include income statements, balance sheets, financial statements, and year-end analysis for income tax reports. I really enjoy working with my clients and am very happy with what I do. During all of the above, I had two wonderful children and am now spoiling my four grandchildren as much as I can. |
