I was born in Plattsburgh, grew up in Plattsburgh and then Keeseville. I graduated from Ausable Valley Central School
where I took business courses and decided to continue on the same path. I graduated with a Regents diploma, and was
accepted at Our Lady of Victory Secretarial School where I graduated from their with a
stenographic degree. OLVSS
had a high placement rating and before graduating, I was hired by a local Excavating
company. I enjoyed working with the company
and learned valuable business skills there. This
company had winter layoffs at that time and being that I had worked since the age of 14
sometimes multiple jobs, I didn’t know
what to do not working, so I applied and was hired with Alexander Edwards and Company in
December of 1990. I
worked full time until just after my son was born, then took some time at home with him
and my three other children for three years then came back for tax seasons only for a
couple of years then decided I wanted to come back part time. I had worked part time until November of 2008 then
full time currently. I
am the smiling face when you first come in either of our doors in the office. I am the glue of the office – working for the
CPA’s and accountants in the office. I
enjoy working in this office because we have a well-tuned office, working very efficiently
together. |
